Chewy Sugar cookies

Recipe

Prep: 1 hour

Cook: 12 Minutes

Serves: Makes 18 cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup COLD butter, cubed small

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 plus 2 tablespoons AP flour

  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons cake flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup sprinkles

  • 1 bag Nestle Tollhouse Funfetti Morsels

In the bowl of a mixer, combine butter, sugar and vanilla. Cream together with the paddle attachment until well combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift flour, cornstarch, baking powder & salt into a small bowl.

Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Once combined, stir in the sprinkles and morsels

Use a large cokie scoop to scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Sprinkle with additional sprinkles, if desired. Chill for 30 minutes.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375. Place 6 cookies on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then move to a wire rack to finish cooling.

I’ve linked the morsels here :)
